Men's Basketball 2/25/2026 10:00:00 PM Saint Anselm Wins Regular Season Title; Earns Top Seed in Championship First Round Scheduled for Saturday NORTH ATTLEBORO, Mass. - For the first time since 2020, Saint Anselm men's basketball won the regular season title and will be the top seed in the Northeast 10 Conference Men's Basketball Championship, presented by Visit Central Florida - as announced by the league office on Wednesday night. Saint Anselm (21-7, 14-4 NE10) finished the regular season by winning nine of its last 12 games, separating itself from a competitive field to win the regular season and clinch a first-round bye in the NE10 Championship. The Hawks are the top-scoring offense (82.7 points per game) in the NE10, including six players averaging double figures, under second-year head coach Chris Santo. Saint Anselm looks to win its first NE10 Championship title in three years. Bentley (19-8, 12-6 NE10) earned the No. 2 seed in the Championship after finishing the season winning seven of its last eight contests. The Falcons feature two of the top 10 scorers in the NE10, as Cooper Farrall ranks third (17.1 points) and Cash McClure is seventh (16.1 points). Pace (No. 3 seed) and Assumption (No. 4 seed) will join Bentley as hosts for first round action on Saturday, February 28. Adelphi, Saint Michael's and Southern New Hampshire round-out the seven-team bracket and will hit the road this weekend. The NE10 Men's Basketball Championship, presented by Visit Central Florida, will conclude with the final on Saturday, March 7. Tip-off is scheduled for 1 p.m. and will be broadcast live on SNY and NBC Sports Philadelphia+, as well as on NE10 NOW on FloSports.
