NE10 Player of the Week

Maddy Bland, Assumption

Bland was one of the hottest hitters this week, as she batted .560 over eight games with 11 runs scored, one double, two triples, one home run, 12 RBI, and was a perfect 9-for-9 on stolen bases. Against Post and Saint Anselm, she batted .714 with nine RBI and seven runs scored. In Assumption's win at Adelphi, she was a perfect 4-for-4 with three RBI in game one.


NE10 Pitcher of the Week

Julianna Colbert, SNHU
Junior | Burrillville, R.I.


Julianna Colbert ran her win streak to six consecutive starts with a pair of wins at defending NE10 champion Pace.  She allowed two runs (one earned) over 14 innings in two complete games Saturday and Sunday.  (SNHU won 3-1 on Saturday and 7-1 on Sunday).  She struck out 13 batters over the two contests.


NE10 Rookie of the Week

Camryn Van Valkenburgh, Franklin Pierce
Freshman I Outfielder I San Dimas, Calif.

Van Valkenburgh had yet another standout week for Franklin Pierce, batting .462 with six hits, eight RBI, and six runs scored across six games. She added extra-base hits and posted a .579 on-base percentage and .769 slugging percentage.  Van Valkenburgh's now driven in runs in seven of the last nine Raven games, accounting for 16 total RBI.
