NE10 Player of the Week
Gianna Iaquinto, Southern Connecticut

Iaquinto had an incredible week for the Owls as she went 8-22 with three doubles, two triples and three home runs for 11 RBI in six games played. On top of that, Iaquinto had 11 runs scored and walked three times. Iaquinto's slugging percentage for the week was 1.091. In the Owls 3-1 win over Pace on Saturday April 18, Iaquinto went 2-for-3 with three RBI and two home runs, including an inside the park home run. Iaquinto's three home runs this week, bring her up to four on the season which leads the Owls and is tied for fifth in the NE10.
NE10 Pitcher of the Week
Julianna Colbert, SNHU
Junior I Burrillville, R.I.
Colbert went 3-1 with a 0.32 ERA in four appearances last week. In 22 innings, she allowed 13 hits and one run, while walking 10 and striking out 32. Her lone loss came 1-0 against Saint Anselm last Tuesday - then bounced back with complete game wins over Saint Anselm (7-0) and AIC (2-0). Then in the second game of the doubleheader against the Yellow Jackets, she pitched a scoreless 11th inning in a 6-5 win.
NE10 Pitcher of the Week
Taylor Zajac, Bentley
Freshman I P I Buffalo, N.Y.
Zajac earned two complete-game victories (7.0IP each) against Adelphi, allowing only one earned run through 14.0 innings against the Panthers (0.50 ERA). She posted a 1.91 ERA for the week.
