NE10 Player of the Week
Nick Berglund, Bentley
Sophomore I Midfielder I Burlington, Mass.
Berglund scored three goals and had one assist in Bentley's 13-11 win over No. 5 Pace on Saturday. He added one caused turnover and two ground balls. He was credited with the game winning goal, giving Bentley a 12-10 lead with 7:55 remaining in the 4th quarter.
NE10 Defensive Player of the Week
Ries Bower, Adelphi
Junior | Close Defense | Lethbridge, Alb.
Bower totaled six caused turnovers and seven ground balls in another 2-0 week for Adelphi. In non-league action against Molloy, he went off for five caused turnovers and scooped up four ground balls, while helping keep the Lions in single digit scoring.
NE10 Goalie of the Week
Nicholas Kendall, American Int'l
Sophomore I Plymouth, Mass.
Kendall was again a wall in net against two of the nation's most potent teams, combining for 43 saves against No. 2 Saint Anselm and No. 20 Saint Michael's while snaring 11 ground balls. Across the entire country among DI and DII keepers, Kendall leads with an average of 17.0 saves per game.
NE10 Rookie of the Week
Lasse Volquersen, SNHU
Sophomore I Attack I Frankfurt, Ger.
Volquardsen added six more goals to his season total last week in wins over Dominican and Franklin Pierce. He scored three goals in each game to run his season total to a team-leading 25.
