NE10 Track Athlete of the Week
Osaretin Osagie, Southern Connecticut
Senior I Norwich, Conn.
Osagie ran the 100H and the 400H at the NEICAAA's, winning both and ranking 35th nationally in the 100m Hurldes. The 400 time ranks SIXTH in DII at 52.36 seconds.
NE10 Field Athlete of the Week
Lawrence Hicks, Southern Connecticut
Sophomore I Red Bank, N.J.
Hicks followed up his Northeast 10 championship in the High Jump but posting the best score in the league this season. He covered a 2.06m jump at the NEICAAA Championships to come in second and 33rd nationally. The mark also met the NCAA provisional standard.
NE10 Rookie of the Week
Aidan Lanciault, Southern Connecticut
Sophomore I Fall River, Mass.
Lanciault put up the best score in the NE10 in the multis this spring at the NEICAAA Championships. Lanciault set PR's in the 1500m, Discus, 400m and 100m. His overall score of 6,286 was also a personal best.
