EMPORIA, Kan. - The Northeast 10 sent two student-athletes to the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field Championships in 2026, and both pulled home All-America honors.
Southern Connecticut State runners Jonathan Volpe and Osaretin Osagie both were named All-America Second Team by finishing in the top 16 of their respective events. Those finishing in the top eight are named to the first team.
Osagie finished 15th in the 400m Hurdles, running in 52.90 seconds. He won the NE10 titles in both the 400m and 110m Hurdles at the conference meet earlier this month.
Volpe, the 2x NE10 cross country champion, followed up his 1,500m win at the league's outdoor championship this spring with a 3:50.84 time at the NCAA meet. That score ranked him 16th.
The two men join Hannah Caiola, Avery Winters, Djamilla Toukour, and Patrice Mansfield, who earned All-America status during the indoor season. Caiola was a 2x All-American in both the 400m and the 4x400.
