NORTH ATTLEBORO, Mass. - The Northeast 10 baseball and softball championship games, originally scheduled for Saturday afternoon, have both been postponed to Sunday due to inclement weather in New Hampshire.
The baseball championship between hosting Southern New Hampshire and Bentley has a scheduled first pitch of 10am. If an additional game is necessary, it will begin 30 minutes after the conclusion of the first game. Bentley enters in the winner's bracket, needing to only win the first game to clinch the conference crown. SNHU would need to win both games to secure a title.
Softball pits Assumption and SNHU against each other in Rindge. The first pitch of the first game is set for 11am. A second game will follow if SNHU is victorious. Assumption, coming out of the winner's bracket, needs only to win one game to secure the conference's automatic qualifying spot to the NCAA Championship.
