General 8/26/2026 3:00:00 PM Over 1,000 NE10 Student-Athletes Earn D2 ADA Academic Achievement Awards Bentley with League-High 219 Honorees NORTH ATTLEBORO, Mass. - The Northeast 10 Conference had 1,060 student-athletes recognized by the Division II Athletics Directors Association as 2025-26 recipients of Academic Achievement Awards on Wednesday morning. The NE10 had eight institutions represented, among which seven had a triple-digit number of student-athletes honored for their outstanding academic performance. Bentley led all conference institutions with 219 honorees - one of just 16 Division II institutions to have more than 200. Adelphi and Assumption both had 149, Saint Michael's had 141, Southern New Hampshire had 122, Pace had 105, Southern Connecticut had 102 and Saint Anselm added 73. The Academic Achievement Awards, in their 19th year of existence, recognize the academic accomplishments of student-athletes at the Division II level in NCAA Championship sponsored sports. To be eligible for the D2 ADA Academic Achievement Award, a student-athlete must have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher, have attended a minimum of two years of college level work and have been an active member of an intercollegiate team during the last academic year. Overall, there were more than 21,000 student-athletes recognized from 179 institutions in 2025-26. "In year 19, this program continues its dedication to celebrating the exceptional student-athletes who define excellence across our Division II landscape," said Jenn Bell, associate VP and director of athletics at Converse University and current D2 ADA President. "We're proud to recognize more than 21,000 deserving student-athletes from 179 institutions, reflecting the tremendous dedication within our division — not only in athletics, but in the classroom as well.
