NE10 Runner of the Week

Fran Peterson, Saint Michael's
Junior I Barron, Wis.

Peterson placed 20th among 281 finishers at the NEICAAA Championship on Friday, completing the 5K in 18:19.54, the second-fastest time in program history. She was the fastest non-Division I finisher, topping all competitors from such regionally-ranked NE10 squads as Bentley, Saint Anselm and Southern New Hampshire.

NE10 Rookie Player of the Week

Christina Sakellis, Adelphi
Freshman I Flushing, N.Y.

Sakellis was the top DII freshman to finish and ranked third runner for Adelphi in last week's New England College Open/Regional Preview.  She placed ninth overall in a field of nearly 100, clocking in at 20:24.84 over 6K.
