Each week during the academic year, the NE10 honors
Athletes of the Week for all of its 24 sponsored sports while they are in season. Faces in the Crowd shines a spotlight on outstanding on-field performances that didn't earn Athlete of the Week recognition, while also highlighting academic or community efforts from student-athletes across the league.
Below are this week's
NE10 Faces in the Crowd.
Faith Kosiba
School: Saint Michael's
Sport: Women's Soccer
Kosiba assisted on four of her team's five goals in a 5-0 win over Maine-Fort Kent last week. The four assists are the most in an NE10 women's soccer game this fall and account for two-thirds of her helpers in 2025. The senior has helped lead the Purple Knights to an 11-2-1 record.
Grace Presswood
School: Assumption
Sport: Volleyball
The junior Bridgeport transfer posted 33 digs in a four-set Assumption win over Wilmington last week. The 33 digs are the most by a player in the NE10 this fall in any length match -- three, four or five sets. Add into the mix that Presswood isn't a DS. The performance came in a double-double in which she also put up 13 kills.
John Giller
School: Southern Connecticut
Sport: Football
The freshman quarterback ran the ball 13 times for 97 yards and three touchdowns against Pace on Saturday, helping the Owls come from 20 points down and win, 35-34, on the road. The game is the third that Giller has seen significant snaps in this fall.
McKenzie Carey
School: Bentley
Sport: Field Hockey
Carey put herself among the NE10's season leaders in goals scored with a four-score performance against STAC last week. The night pushed Bentley to an 8-0 win and equals the most goals scored by an individual in the conference this fall. Carey now has 16 career goals and is having a career-season as a senior.
Ruby Harrington
School: Saint Michael's
Sport: Field Hockey
Harrington converted late tying penalty strokes to force overtime in both contests during a 1-1 week. In a 2-1 loss to Franklin Pierce on Tuesday, she leveled the game in the 50th minute before turning the feat again in the 50th minute of a 2-1 victory at Molloy on Saturday. Following two overtime periods in that contest, she scored the opening goal of the shootout to ensure the Purple Knights never trailed in a 2-1 shootout triumph.

ABOUT THE NE10
The NE10 is an association of 10 diverse institutions serving student-athletes across 24 NCAA Division II sports. Together we build brilliant futures by embracing the journey of every student-athlete.
Each year, 4,500 of those student-athletes compete in conference championships in 24 sports, making the NE10 the largest DII conference in the country in terms of sport sponsorship. Leading the way in the classroom, on the field and within the community, the NE10 is proud of its comprehensive program and the experience it provides student-athletes.
Fans can subscribe via this link to follow NE10 NOW on FloSports this season. The partnership between the NE10 and FloSports works to provide funds back to the athletic departments of the Northeast-10 Conference in support of student-athletes while promoting the league on a national platform.
