NE10 Player of the Week
Sophia Poehlein, Bentley
Sophomore | Outside Hitter | Zionsville, Ind.
Poehlein had a hitting percentage of .432 to lead Bentley to a 2-0 week with wins over Assumption and Southern New Hampshire. She recorded 3.57 kills per set, 4.86 points per set and 2.57 digs per set, with her best performance coming as a double-double with 15 kills and 12 digs against Assumption.
NE10 Defensive Player of the Week
Rory Tower, Saint Michael's
Freshman | Middle Blocker| Fountain Hills, Ariz.
Tower averaged 1.7 kills, 2.0 blocks and 1.4 digs per set during a 2-0 week. In a 3-1 win over Saint Anselm on Tuesday, turned in 13 blocks, six digs, five kills on .308 hitting, and two aces. Tower added 10 kills, seven digs, five blocks and one ace in a 3-2 victory over Assumption on Saturday.
NE10 Setter of the Week
Tory Vitko, Bentley
Sophomore | Setter | Dover, N.H.
Vitko had 55 assists (11.0 per set) in Bentley's 2-0 week, which included wins over Assumption and Southern New Hampshire. She had 31 assists in a three-set win over Southern New Hampshire, while adding 24 against Assumption.
