NE10 Player of the Week
Kayleigh Goodrich, Adelphi
Junior | Forward | Hicksville, N.Y.
Goodrich continued her impressive season with three goals and two assists this week. She scored two in Adelphi's 8-1 win over Caldwell on Tuesday and added another along with the assist on Madison Apicella's game-winner over Bentley on Saturday.
NE10 Defensive Player of the Week
Samantha Breton, Franklin Pierce
Graduate Student | Defender | Chicopee, Mass.
Breton anchored a back line that allowed just two goals over three matches as Franklin Pierce went unbeaten (1-0-2) on the week. She played every minute across all contests, helping the Ravens post a shutout against Assumption and assisting on the team’s goal versus No. 19 Florida Tech.
NE10 Goalkeeper of the Week
Makenzi Pastreck, Southern Connecticut
Freshman | Goalkeeper | Wilbraham, Mass.
Pastreck saw her first collegiate action this week and impressed, shutting out both opponents the Owls faced this week. She tallied her first collegiate save in a 0-0 draw against Queens, then saved five shots in Southern's 1-0 win over Chestnut Hill.
NE10 Rookie of the Week
Milani Thompson, Pace
Freshman | Defender | Monroe Township, N.J.
Thompson continued to shine on both sides of the ball for the Setters, playing all 180 minutes across two matches while contributing both defensively and offensively. Thompson was a steady presence on the back line in a 2–1 battle against Molloy on Sept. 30, limiting opposing chances while also registering her first collegiate assist. She followed with another strong outing in a 4–2 NE10 victory over Saint Michael’s on Oct. 4, scoring her first collegiate goal on her lone shot of the match while once again going the full 90 minutes.
