NE10 Swimmer of the Week
Molly Kennedy, SCSU
Junior I Prospect, Conn.
Kennedy had another great meet against College of Staten Island. Kennedy started off the meet swimming the anchor leg of Southern Connecticut's 200 yard medley relay team that won the event with a time of 1:53.29. Kennedy followed that up with a win in the 200 yard freestyle finishing in 1:56.44. Kennedy's time is a new conference best for the season, beating out Maria Janecka of CSI by nearly a full second. That time has her ranked 125th in DII. Kennedy followed that up by winning her second individual event of the meet in the 500 yard freestyle crossing the line in 5:21.15, which puts her in second in the conference and ties her for 177th in DII.

Sophomore I West Haven, Conn.
Militrano placed sixth in the 1M against Saint Peter's, Sacred Heart and Merrimack with a score of 121.50.
NE10 Rookie of the Week
Olivia Larsen, Saint Michael's
Freshman I Riverview New Brunswick
Larsen earned four wins among five top-two showings while helping the Purple Knights win the North Country Invitational over the weekend. Her win in the 200 breaststroke (2:33.50) was good for the ninth-fastest time in the NE10 this year, and she added victories in the 100 breaststroke (1:11.26), 200 medley relay (1:56.95) and 400 medley relay (4:15.64). Larsen captured second in the 200 individual medley (2:19.29).
