NE10 Swimmer of the Week
Ceyda Genç, Bridgeport
Freshman I Ancara, Turkey
Genc won the 100 Fly (1:06.73) and 100 Free (1:01.86) and was part of the winning 200 Medley (2:05.90). Her fly time ranks sixth in the NE10 this season and her 100 free sits 14th. The Purple Knights stumbled in a close battle with Pace, falling 128-122. Her four wins at the meet were, according to Swimcloud, the most in the pool that day for either team.
NE10 Diver of the Week

The senior won from both the 1M and 3M boards last week, posting a 191.85 score on the lower board and 205.80 from the upper board.
NE10 Rookie of the Week
Kathryn Zhenilenko, Pace
Freshman I Brooklyn, N.Y.
Zhenilenko delivered another impactful meet for the Setters, collecting four runner-up finishes to help Pace edge out Bridgeport on the road. The freshman clocked a 1:09.80 in the 100 Fly and added a top-two finish in the 100 IM (1:11.95). She also swam the butterfly leg of the A-relay in the 200 Medley, contributing to a second-place finish that provided crucial early points in the team victory.
