Release Pulled from NFHCA
COLORADO SPRINGS, CO — Parker Keeler from Newberry College and Lana Mignon de Wet from Adelphi University were selected to represent their respective region as the NFHCA Division II Regional Player of the Year. Each regional award winner is now in the running for NFHCA Division II National Player of the Year honors.
De Wet exploded from the jump this fall, posting three multi-goal games in the first six of the season. She ended the regular season in the same fashion, posting hat tricks in the final two games. Between that, De Wet scored in all but six games, scoring as many as four goals in a single game. She added five assists for 49 total points. De Wet joins Kaylee Deleva as Panther NE10 Players of the Year.
The Pretoria, South Africa native is the third straight NE10 forward to lead the country in scoring and win Player of the Year, following Krista Dietz (Pace, 2023) and Annemartine Christis (SNHU, 2024). She follows both as East Region Player of the Year.
