NORTH ATTLEBORO, Mass. – The Northeast 10 Conference had 36 women's soccer players and 23 men's soccer players - 59 student-athletes overall - named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District teams last week.
The 2025 Academic All-District teams are selected by CSC and recognize the nation's top student-athletes across the NCAA and NAIA for their combined performances on the playing field and in the classroom.
Academic All-District honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America ballot. Student-athletes selected as CSC Academic All-America finalists are denoted with an asterisk and will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. The NE10 had 11 players - four from the men's side and seven from the women's side - advance to the national ballot.
The Academic All-America teams will be announced on December 16 (men) and December 17 (women).
Southern New Hampshire led all NE10 men's soccer programs with two players - Gabriel Castro and Alex Pons - advancing to the national ballot. On the women's side, Franklin Pierce had a conference-high three players - Samantha Breton, Claudia Peirce and Makenzie Shean - moving on.
Overall, 17 NE10 soccer programs were represented, including eight men's teams and nine women's teams.
The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2025-26 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs.
