NE10 Faces in the Crowd: Big Time Three-Pointers

Cash McClure Hits Two Critical Triples and Stephanie Davis Drains the Only One

Each week during the academic year, the NE10 honors Athletes of the Week for all of its 24 sponsored sports while they are in season. Faces in the Crowd shines a spotlight on outstanding on-field performances that didn't earn Athlete of the Week recognition, while also highlighting academic or community efforts from student-athletes across the league.

Below are this week's NE10 Faces in the Crowd.

ANDRES FULGENCIO
School: Adelphi
Sport: Basketball

Fulgencio scored 26 points on 9-12 shooting (5-7 from three) at AIC last week in his biggest statistical performance.  He followed that up, however, by hitting a huge and-one against St. Anselm, helping end a Hawks comeback and securing a 2-0 week on the road.

CASH McCLURE
School: Bentley
Sport: Basketball

McClure hit a buzzer beater against Assumption on Saturday, capping off a 2-0 week against a pair of teams above the Falcons in the standings.  He hit a triple with two minutes left against Pace on Wednesday, spreading the BEntley lead after Pace had cut it to a one-possession game.

COLETTE MULDERIG
School: Franklin Pierce
Sport: Basketball

Mulderig scored 28 points and added 13 rebounds in her double-double against SNHU.  The 28-point performance marked the fifth-most points scored in an NE10 women's basketball game this season.

HUNTER BRACKETT
School: Saint Anselm
Sport: Ice Hockey

The NE10's leading scorer has been on a tear all season, but even more of late.  Brackett has scored a point in seven straight games, racking up six goals and nine assists over that span.

JOE SANTORO
School:
Post
Sport: Ice Hockey

Santoro scored the game-winning-goal in overtime over the weekend, taking down defending NE10 champion Assumption on the road.  Santoro scored both Post goals for his second multi-goal performance of the year.

STAN DeMARTINIS
School:
Bentley
Sport: Baseball

DeMartinis missed last season to injury and wasted no time jumping back in.  The senior Floridian made a huge impact in Bentley's trip to Florida, belting two homeruns and driving in five against Barry - Bentley's first game of the year.  He doubled and drove in two the next day against Lynn.

STEPHANIE DAVIS
School:
SNHU
Sport: Basketball

Davis scored five points and added five assists in the SNHU upset of SCSU.  Her biggest impact came when she hit her team's only three of the game with 6:43 to play, pulling the Penmen within two.  The shot was the last field goal SNHU made in the game, going on to win by executing at the free throw line.

TAYESHAWN CUNNINGHAM-PEMBERTON
School:
Assumption
Sport: Basketball

Cunningham-Pemberton was averaging 7.5ppg on the season ... until he exploded over Assumption's last four games.  Tayeshawn is averaging 16.5ppg with 7.8 reb over the last four games, including a flurry of jaw-dropping dunks.
