MANSFIELD, Mass. — The NCAA has announced the field of 80 teams and 32 student-athletes competing as individuals that have been selected to participate in regional competition of the 2025 NCAA Division II men's golf championships. Regional play will be conducted May 8-10.
At a minimum, the top three teams and the top two student-athletes not with a team from each regional will advance to the finals, May 19-23 at PGA National Resort in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. The remaining eight team berths will be allocated based on the regions represented in the prior year's head-to-head medal play portion of the championships, with the maximum number of teams from a given region capped at seven. The finals will be hosted by Palm Beach Atlantic and the Palm Beach County Sports Commission.
The NE10 claimed four of the 10 spots up for grabs. Ranked second is Southern New Hampshire, the highest seeded NE10 squad, which won the conference championship in the fall. With that title win came an automatic berth into the NCAA field. Also selected were Adelphi at No. 5, Assumption at No. 7 and Saint Anselm at No. 10.
Additionally, the NE10 took all four individual selections, as Franklin Pierce's Seth Saffell, New Haven's Hermann Gavilan and Bentley's Evan Desjardins and Chris Huban all qualified.
Gannon will serve as host of the Atlantic/East Regional at Whispering Woods Golf Club in Erie, Pa.
