Adelphi's Johnny Solari Highlights NE10 Performances in Golf Regionals

Adelphi Men and Franklin Pierce Women Both Finish Ninth

MANSFIELD, Mass. - The Northeast-10 Conference had five men's and women's teams, as well as four individual golfers, compete in NCAA Regional play last week. Adelphi's Johnny Solari had a standout performance, as he qualified for the Division II National Championship. 

Solari will compete next week (May 19-23) at the PGA National Resort in Palm Beach, Fla., as one of two individual golfers to qualify from the NCAA Atlantic/East Regional. 

MEN'S RECAP

Solari finished in a tie for fifth at five-over (221) to lead all NE10 golfers in the NCAA Atlantic/East Regional from May 8-10 at Whispering Woods Golf Club in Erie, Pa. - hosted by Gannon University. His first round was his best round, shooting even par (72). 

Southern New Hampshire's Jack Pepin was another Top 10 finisher, as he placed ninth at seven-over (223) and just missed the cut for the Division II National Championship. 

Adelphi had the best team finish among NE10 programs, placing ninth on the overall leaderboard at 61-over. Entering the final round, Adelphi was among the top five teams on the leaderboard. Southern New Hampshire finished 16th, Assumption was 17th and Saint Anselm was 20th. 

It is the second-straight year that Adelphi has produced a golfer who qualified for the Division II National Championship. In 2024, it was Filip Wetterqvist who went on to tie for 12th nationally. 

FOLLOW-UP (5/22/25): Solari tied for 72nd at the NCAA Division II Men's Golf National Championship. He shot 12-over (228) in three rounds, including a personal-best even par (72) in the final round. 

WOMEN'S RECAP

Franklin Pierce, the NE10 champions, played in the NCAA East Regional from May 5-7 at The Meadows at Grand Valley State in Allendale, Mich. The Ravens finished ninth as a team at 79-over through three rounds. 

Kesinee Prukmathakul, the three-time reigning NE10 Player of the Year, finished in a tie for 17th to lead all individual performances for Franklin Pierce. She tallied a 13-over (229) for the tournament, including even par (72) in the final round.
