Saint Anselm's Driscoll Leads Group of 11 All-Americans from Women's Lacrosse

Pace with League-High Five Selections.

NORTH ATTLEBORO, Mass. - Saint Anselm's Elizabeth Driscoll was named Division II Goalkeeper of the Year by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) on Wednesday, highlighting a group of 11 women's lacrosse players from the Noprtheast-10 Conference to earn All-America honors. 

Driscoll becomes the first Saint Anselm player to earn a major national award from IWLCA. Her .521 save percentage was tops in the NE10 and ranked third nationally, while becoming one of just 22 goalies in Division II to average more than 10 saves per game (10.26). Over the course of her career, she won a program-record 36 games and tallied over 500 saves for the Hawks. She is a two-time selection as NE10 Goalkeeper of the Year.

Pace had a league-high five All-America selections, led by Mackenzie Carita, Sasha Kulo and Annie Sheehan on the Second Team. Colleen Gilligan and Nikki Mottes earned Third Team honors. 

Adelphi had three selections, including Ashley Kolomechuk on the First Team, Sonny Lionetti on the Second Team and Rita Sefransky on the Third Team. 

New Haven's Katie Schenk joined Driscoll and Kolomechuk as a First Team All-American, while Bentley's Maeve Johnson earned a spot on the Third Team. 

All 11 players were named to the IWLCA All-Region First Team two weeks ago.
