NORTH ATTLEBORO, Mass. – The Northeast 10 Conference officially unveiled its Hall of Fame Class of 2025 on Thursday, as the league recognized a class of 10 inductees for their outstanding accomplishments and contributions during their time in the NE10.
The Class of 2025 consists of nine different institutions, which includes five former NE10 members, and nine different sports. It consists of seven former student-athletes, two teams, and one coach - with one institution represented by multiple inductees.
Started in 2006, the NE10 Hall of Fame honors those who have made significant contributions to the Conference, while preserving and promoting the history of the league since its inception in 1980. As of 2025, the Hall has 153 individuals and 29 teams that have been inducted.
"The NE10 Hall of Fame Class of 2025 is a special collection of individuals and teams that achieved at the highest levels and proudly represented the conference during their tenures," said NE10 Commissioner Julie Ruppert. "This Class consists of seven outstanding student-athletes, two national championship-winning programs and one coach. We could not be more excited to celebrate these 10 inductees for their incredible accomplishments – which now include the NE10 Hall of Fame, an accolade that is reserved for the best of the best from amongst the tens of thousands that have worn uniforms in our impressive history. Thank you to the members of this Class for their hard work and commitment. Congratulations!"

Ezra Mutai, AIC Men's Cross Country/Track & Field
Ezra Mutai accomplished a remarkable feat during his time at American International College – winning not one, but two, NCAA national titles in cross country and outdoor track & field. On November 23, 2019, Mutai won the NCAA Division II Men’s Cross Country Championship at the Arcade Creek Cross Country Course in Sacramento, California. Less than two years later, he would follow that up by winning the national title in the 10K at the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championship on May 27, 2021 in Allendale, Michigan. He is a six-time All-American and two-time selection as NE10 Men’s Cross Country Athlete of the Year. Mutai is the second cross country athlete and third track & field athlete from AIC to be inducted into the NE10 Hall of Fame.
Breanne Gleason, New Haven Softball
Breanne Gleason helped lead New Haven to a 130-66 record, including three trips to the NCAA East Regional, during her softball career. In 2010, she had her best season – being named both NE10 Player and Pitcher of the Year, a feat accomplished by only two other players in league history – while the Chargers advanced to the NCAA Super Regionals. She is a two-time All-American, three-time All-Conference selections and four-time All-Region honoree. In two seasons of NE10 competition, she was 68-23 as a pitcher with 663 strikeouts in 590 innings. Gleason totaled 15 home runs, 58 RBI and 98 hits as a junior and senior. She becomes the first New Haven softball student-athlete to be inducted into the NE10 Hall of Fame.
Ada Udaya, New Haven Women's Track & Field
Ada Udaya enjoyed an illustrious career at New Haven, which included becoming a three-time Indoor Track & Field Athlete of the Year, as selected by the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Association. A 16-time All-American and a two-time Academic All-American, she earned a pair of top-three finishes at NCAA Championship events during her time with the Chargers. Udaya was a three-time NE10 Track Athlete of the Year and a four-time selection as NE10 Championship Most Outstanding Track Athlete of the Meet. She still holds NE10 Championship records for indoor in the 60 meter dash and the 200 meter dash, as well as outdoor in the 100 meter dash. Udaya is the second women’s track & field athlete from New Haven to be inducted into the NE10 Hall of Fame.

Marcus Mayus, Pace Men's Lacrosse
Marcus Mayus was a key contributor to the Pace men's lacrosse team during the early days of the institution's tenure with the NE10. He was a two-time All-American at Pace, helping the Setters to their first and only NE10 Championship title in the 1999 season. In that same year, he was named NE10 Player of the Year, ECAC Player of the Year and National Midfielder of the Year after accounting for 50 total points and 139 ground balls. He ranks fourth in assists, sixth in points and eighth in goals in Pace's program history. Mayus joins his former teammate, Andy Wasik, in the NE10 Hall of Fame – becoming only the second men's lacrosse player from Pace to ever be inducted.

Carmelina Puopolo, Saint Rose Women's Soccer
Carmelina Puopolo made a huge impact on NE10 women's soccer during her time at Saint Rose, which included being a standout player on the 2011 National Championship team – the first and only women's soccer program in the conference to win a Division II title. During five seasons at Saint Rose, she led the Golden Knights to four trips to the national semifinals. She is a two-time National Player of the Year selection – one in 2011 by the NSCAA and again in 2012 by Daktronics. Puopolo was a three-time All-American, as well as a CoSIDA Academic All-America honoree. She led Division II in points scored in 2011 and 2012, finishing her career third in points in NE10 history with 199. She becomes the first women's soccer player from Saint Rose to be inducted into the NE10 Hall of Fame.

Andy McMahon, Stonehill Men's Soccer
Andy McMahon was a leading contributor on the Stonehill men's soccer team that won back-to-back NE10 Championships in 1990 and 1991. He was the program's first All-American, as well as being the NE10 Player of the Year in 1990. Upon graduation, he ranked fourth all-time in scoring – with his 77 points now ranking sixth - at Stonehill as a defender and still holds the school record for most career assists (43). McMahon led Stonehill to four-straight winning seasons, while being named a two-time All-Region and four-time All-Conference player. He is the first Stonehill men's soccer player to be inducted into the NE10 Hall of Fame.

Ruben Sanca, UMass Lowell Men's Cross Country/Track & Field
Ruben Sanca was a standout distance runner for UMass Lowell, earning eight All-America honors while competing for the River Hawks. He helped lead UMass Lowell to three NE10 cross country titles, as well as a combined six runner-up finishes in cross country and track & field. Sanca was an NCAA qualifier in four different years in a multitude of events, including the 5,000 meter and 10,000 meter, while becoming a three-time NE10 Athlete of the Year and a five-time All-New England selection. He was named NE10 Scholar-Athlete of the Year in 2009. Following graduation, Sanca would go on to represent Cape Verde in the 2012 Summer Olympic Games in London. He is the second cross country and track & field athlete from UMass Lowell to enter into the NE10 Hall of Fame.

Jayson King, Franklin Pierce Baseball
Jayson King's tenure as head baseball coach at Franklin Pierce was one of pure dominance. King led Franklin Pierce to nine NE10 regular season championships, five NE10 Championship titles, seven NCAA Regional titles and seven trips to the NCAA Division II Baseball Championship during his 18-year tenure in Rindge – 16 of which came as an NE10 member. He was a seven-time Northeast Region Coach of the Year and a seven-time Division II Coach of the Year. In 16 seasons in the NE10, he tallied 616 wins – which currently ranks second in conference history. King led the Ravens to seven seasons with 40 or more wins, including 49 wins in 2007. He becomes the second baseball coach to be inducted into the NE10 Hall of Fame, joining Bryant's Jon Sjogren.

2019 Adelphi Women's Lacrosse Team
The 2019 Adelphi Women's Lacrosse Team won the program's ninth national championship when it soundly defeated West Chester, 11-5, on May 19, 2019 in Allendale, Michigan. Kole Pollock led the Panthers that day with four goals, while Lena Riportella added three of her own. Eight players overall contributed multiple points in the winning effort. Adelphi finished the season with a 19-3 record, including a 12-1 mark in NE10 play. It was the third national title under head coach Pat McCabe and the sixth for the Panthers since joining the conference in 2010. Adelphi in 2019 becomes the ninth women's lacrosse program inducted into the NE10 Hall of Fame.

2019 Merrimack Men's Lacrosse Team
The 2019 Merrimack Men's Lacrosse Team repeated as Division II national champions on May 26, 2019, with a 16-8 victory over Limestone at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia. The Warriors won their second-straight national title behind a dominant seven-point performance from Charlie Bertrand – the NE10 Player of the Year - while Nick Ponte made 12 saves in goal. Merrimack completed the season with a 17-3 record. Merrimack in 2019 becomes the seventh men's lacrosse program inducted into the NE10 Hall of Fame.
