Each week during the academic year, the NE10 honors
Athletes of the Week for all of its 24 sponsored sports while they are in season. Faces in the Crowd shines a spotlight on outstanding on-field performances that didn't earn Athlete of the Week recognition, while also highlighting academic or community efforts from student-athletes across the league.
Below are this week's
NE10 Faces in the Crowd.
Brennah Abilheira-Cargill
School: Assumption
Sport: Volleyball
The sophomore dug up 29 attacks against Felician on Saturday, the most in the NE10 this fall in a four-set match and the second-most in any match played by a conference team thus far. The Rhode Island native is in her second season in Worcester and her first seeing significant time on the court after backing up Barbara Illig last fall.
Kerrigan Habing
School: SCSU
Sport: Volleyball
The sophomore transfer from the Academy of Art has been awesome lately. Most recently Habing killed 20 balls on 39 swings vs. Assumption for a hitting percentage over .400. It was her sixth double-figure kill match and third in four trips to the court.
Khais Milligan
School: Pace
Sport: Soccer
The freshman from Syracuse, N.Y. made his collegiate debut in a shutout vs. St. Anselm last week, stopping nine shots and giving the Setters a chance in what was ultimately a 0-0 draw.
Drew Forkner
School: Saint Anselm
Sport: Football
Forkner racked up the most air yardage in the NE10 this season last week and the Hawks needed all of it. Saint Anselm held off a surging Pace squad in Manchester as Forkner tossed for 358 yards and a score. His two best games this season have both come against the setters.
Madeline Krepelka
School: Bentley
Sport: Field Hockey
In just more than a half of hockey against Saint Michael's, Krepelka registered the first Bentley hat trick since 2021 and added in two assists for good measure.
