NE10 Swimmer of the Week
Daniel Ivanchikov, Bentley
Junior I Leola, Penn.
The junior set a personal best in the 200 Back in Bentley's 191-96 win over Saint Michael's last week. He swam in 1:58.78 to take first on the day and followed that up with a 21.91 time in the 50 Free to win that sprint as well. Ivanchikov also swam in two relays, helping win the 400 Free.
NE10 Diver of the Week
Elliot Speckhard, Southern Connecticut
Sophomore I Saint Louis, Mo.
Against Assumption Speckhard took home wins on both the one and three meter diving boards. On the one meter Speckhard scored 251.85, which ranks fourth in the NE10. On the three meter he scored 248.93, which ranks third in the NE10 this season.
NE10 Rookie of the Week
Daniel Lazar, Southern Connecticut
Freshman I Sammamish, Wash.
Lazar won one individual event in SCSU's head-to-head meet against Assumption, taking home the 100 Backstroke with a time of 56.64. That time was a new PR for Lazar and ranked 25th in the NE10.
