Each week during the academic year, the NE10 honors
Athletes of the Week for all of its 24 sponsored sports while they are in season. Faces in the Crowd shines a spotlight on outstanding on-field performances that didn't earn Athlete of the Week recognition, while also highlighting academic or community efforts from student-athletes across the league.
Faces in the Crowd is presented by Athletic Solutions, a national leader in NIL fan engagement and e-commerce technology, collaborating with colleges and universities to bring NIL Locker Rooms
to life. Their platform simplifies NIL opportunities, providing student-athletes with the tools and exposure needed to thrive in the evolving landscape of college athletics.

NE10 Faces in the Crowd.
Aguibou Balde
School: American International
Sport: Basketball
The three-year starter dropped 31 on NE10-leading Saint Anselm last week. He was 9-14 from the field and 13-17 from the line while also pulling down eight rebounds. He added a pair of steals. Balde is averaging a career-best 11.5 points this season.
Chelsea Reeves
School: American International
Sport: Basketball
The Queens transfer scored 30 points for the second time this season, posting 31 against Saint Michael's in a double-double (10 rebounds). She also added five assists, two steals, three triples and was perfect from the free throw line. Reeves has upped her scoring to 17.6ppg from 15ppg last season.
Colin Burns
School: Saint Anselm
Sport: Track and Field
Burns took third place in the weight throw with a program record-breaking toss of 15.55 meters when the Hawks competed last week. He broke his own school record of 15.14m, a mark he set last week at Plymouth State.
Juan David Urrea Vargas
School: Bridgeport
Sport: Swimming and Diving
The grad student from Colombia took first in both the 1M and 3M dives in the Purple Knights' win over CSI last week. He scored 220.20 on the 1M and 199.28 on the 3M, besting reigning NE10 Diver of the Year Yubal Parra (who would win NE10 Diver of the Week based on his other two performances a week ago).
Reese Nicolosi
School: Saint Anselm
Sport: Track and Field
Nicolosi
finished third in the 60-meter hurdles last week in 9.15. She set a new school record in the 60H, surpassing her own mark of 9.24 that she recorded last week at Plymouth State.

The NE10 is an association of 10 diverse institutions serving student-athletes across 24 NCAA Division II sports. Together we build brilliant futures by embracing the journey of every student-athlete.
Each year, 4,500 of those student-athletes compete in conference championships in 24 sports, making the NE10 the largest DII conference in the country in terms of sport sponsorship. Leading the way in the classroom, on the field and within the community, the NE10 is proud of its comprehensive program and the experience it provides student-athletes.
