Men's Ice Hockey 2/24/2026 10:50:00 PM Saint Anselm and Post Advance in OT Thrillers Semifinals Set for NE10 Ice Hockey Championship No. 3 Saint Anselm 5, No. 6 SNHU 4 (OT) Box Score Sean Connolly scored both the equalizing goal and the game-winning goal in overtime on Tuesday night, as No. 3-seeded Saint Anselm survived with a 5-4 comeback win over No. 6-seeded Southern New Hampshire in the first round of the NE10 Ice Hockey Championship at Sullivan Arena. The Hawks fought back from 3-0 and 4-1 deficits, eventually tying the game on a Connolly goal with 2:09 remaining in regulation. In overtime, Connolly would score again to send Saint Anselm to the semifinal round of the NE10 Championship on Saturday. Both Connolly (two goals, one assist) and Cam Collins (one goal, two assists) tallied three points for the Hawks on Tuesday, while Tucker Hanson made 26 saves in net. SNHU was led by multiple-point efforts from Aidan Rufa and Zach Vickerman. Saint Anselm will travel to play No. 2-seeded Saint Michael's on Saturday at 3 p.m. in a rematch of the 2025 NE10 Ice Hockey Championship final. No. 4 Post 4, No. 5 Franklin Pierce 3 (OT) Box Score Aidan Canady netted a game-winning goal in overtime to send No. 4-seeded Post to a 4-3 win over No. 5-seeded Franklin Pierce in the first round of the NE10 Ice Hockey Championship on Tuesday night at the Sports Center of Connecticut. Canady scored twice in the win - including the game-winner just 2:24 into the overtime period - to help the Eagles advance to the semifinal round on Saturday night at top-seeded Assumption. Four players had multiple points for Post, while Benjamin Cunneen made 26 saves to pick up the win in goal. Franklin Pierce had three different goal scorers in the losing effort. Jeremy Connor made an impressive 41 saves for the Ravens. Post will travel to play Assumption on Saturday. Puck drop is set for 7:30 p.m. at the Worcester Ice Center.
