Winter Student-Athletes Tabbed to Academic All-Conference Teams

Bentley Leads NE10 Institutions with 23 Honorees

NORTH ATTLEBORO, Mass. – On Tuesday afternoon, the Northeast 10 Conference released its Academic All-Conference teams for the 2025-26 winter season, as the league recognized 101 student-athletes from seven sports for their academic and athletic excellence.

To be eligible for selection to NE10 Academic All-Conference teams, a student-athlete must have met or exceeded the following minimum requirements:

  • Named to sport All-Conference team (First, Second, Third or Defensive). 
  • Must have spent at least two consecutive full-time semesters at the institution (not including the last semester completed)
  • Must have minimum cumulative GPA of 3.30 (for both undergrad and grad)

All 10 NE10 institutions had at least one student-athlete selected to the Academic All-Conference teams. For a full list of honorees, please CLICK HERE.

Bentley had a league-high 23 selections and Southern Connecticut was second with 21 honorees. Adelphi had 15 selections, while both Assumption and Pace had eight.  

Women's indoor track & field led all winter sports with 23 student-athletes honored, while women's swimming & diving had 22. Men's indoor track & field had 17, men's swimming & diving had 13, ice hockey and women's basketball both had 11, and men's basketball had four. 

Among the 101 student-athletes, 27 of them are being honored for the second time and seven are being recognized as Academic All-Conference for the third time in their careers - including Adelphi's Valencia Beaubrun (indoor track & field), Adelphi's Connor Singer (swimming), Bentley's Cash McClure (basketball), Saint Anselm's Luke Linart (ice hockey), Saint Michael's Ashley Silveira (swimming), Southern Connecticut's Osaretin Osagie (indoor track & field) and Southern New Hampshire's Meghan Gordon (basketball). 

Overall, the NE10 had three Player of the Year winners on the Academic All-Conference teams, including Adelphi's Lauren Beberman (Women's Basketball Defensive Player of the Year), Assumption's Shane McElhaney (Ice Hockey Defensive Player of the Year) and Southern Connecticut's Courtney Henchcliffe (Women's Indoor Track Athlete of the Year).
