Witkowska Helps Adelphi Clinch Regular Season Title

NE10 Player of the Week

Zuzanna Witkowska, Adelphi
Junior | Warsaw, Poland

Witkowska was 4-2 overall this week for Adelphi, which included two matches against top regional competition. She was a perfect 3-0 at No. 2 singles against Jefferson's Alycia Veroux (6-1, 6-3), Wilmington's Siana MacDonald (6-4, 6-3) and Saint Michael's Olivia Larsen (6-0, 6-2), helping the Panthers to a 2-1 week - with one win coming against No. 44-ranked Jefferson. 


NE10 Rookie of the Week

Darja Trinerova, Assumption
Freshman | Holysov, Czech Republic

Trinerova went 4-0 on the week, as she started the week with a 7-5 at No. 1 doubles with Marian Aguirre at Saint Michael's, before winning No. 2 singles 6-4, 6-3. Trinerova capped off the week with a 6-3 win at top-flight doubles at Saint Anselm College before nearly sweeping her way through No. 2 singles 6-0, 6-1.
