NE10 Track Athlete of the Week

Courtney Henchcliffe, Southern Connecticut
Senior I Newtown, Conn.

Henchcliffe PR'd her 5k at 17:04.82 to rank No. 1 in the NE10.  She placed 10th in the event at the Bryan Clay Invitational.


NE10 Field Athlete of the Week

Celine Bozukluian, Southern Connecticut
Senior I Trumbull, Conn.


One in a team of stacked throwers in New Haven, Celine posted a PR for the second straight week and met an NCAA provisional mark at 53.47m in the Hammer Throw.  Her toss is the sixth-best in SCSU history and ranks tops in the NE10 this season, 28th nationally.


NE10 Rookie of the Week

Lindy Moreland, SNHU
Freshman  I  Gorham, Maine

Moreland finished third in the high jump at the UMass Lowell George Davis at 1.55m, the second-best mark of the season in the NE10.  She also set a new PR in the 100 hurdles on Saturday in 16.28 seconds.
