NE10 Track Athlete of the Week

Jonathan Volpe, Southern Connecticut
Senior I Naugatuck, Conn.

Volpe ran the 1,500 at the Central Connecticut State invitational.  He crossed the line in 3:49.65 to win the DI-hosted event and to rank second in the Northeast 10 this season (behind only himself).


NE10 Field Athlete and Rookie of the Week

Andrew Henaghen, Saint Anselm
Freshman I Hampden, Maine

Henaghen competed in the Wildcat Invitational this weekend and earned a first place finish in the javelin. The freshman tossed 58.57m to set his third program record of his rookie outdoor season.
