Each week during the academic year, the NE10 honors
Athletes of the Week for all of its 24 sponsored sports while they are in season. Faces in the Crowd shines a spotlight on outstanding on-field performances that didn't earn Athlete of the Week recognition, while also highlighting academic or community efforts from student-athletes across the league.
Faces in the Crowd is presented by Athletic Solutions, a national leader in NIL fan engagement and e-commerce technology, collaborating with colleges and universities to bring NIL Locker Rooms
to life. Their platform simplifies NIL opportunities, providing student-athletes with the tools and exposure needed to thrive in the evolving landscape of college athletics.

Lana mignon de wet
ADELPHI I FIELD HOCKEY
The 2025 East Region Player of the Year, Lana Mignon had two big games last week in very different fashions. The Panthers exploded for 18 goals in two games and de Wet netted three of them in a 10-1 win vs. Mercy. She then racked up three assists in an eight-goal outbrust vs. Dominican.

FRANKLIN PIERCE I FOOTBALL
The receiver had a massive day at Saint Anselm, hauling in two deep touchdown passes en route to the best day in the NE10 through the air this season. Mugovero finished with 168 yards, 64 of which came on one of his scores.

SCSU I CROSS COUNTRY
Sallum was 0.01 seconds away from repeating as NE10 Runner of the Week. He finished, quite literally, a hair behind Bentley's Hayden MacArthur at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational. Sallum's 24:39.4 time is the second-fastest 8k in the conference this fall ... by that one hundredth of a second.

FRANKLIN PIERCE I VOLLEYBALL
The Montana sophomore posted a season-best 21 kills on 55 swings against SNHU last week. She hit .273 with six errors on the way to a five-set win vs. the Penmen. The win was the second for the Ravens over an NE10 foe this fall.

SNHU I VOLLEYBALL
In the same match that saw Swanson go for 21 kills, Thomas posted a career high 22. The Wisconsin native hit .311 and both the kills and the hitting percentage mark bests for Thomas this year (minimum two sets).

The NE10 is an association of 10 diverse institutions serving student-athletes across 24 NCAA Division II sports. Together we build brilliant futures by embracing the journey of every student-athlete.
Each year, 4,500 of those student-athletes compete in conference championships in 24 sports, making the NE10 the largest DII conference in the country in terms of sport sponsorship.
