NE10 Player of the Week
Hunter Brackett, Saint Anselm
Senior | Forward | Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
Bracket had a three-point weekend as the Hawks skated to the Buffalo State Bengals Classic Championship. Bracket scored the first goal in the opening game against Brockport. He then added two assists in Saturday's 4-3 overtime victory, including the game-winner 56 seconds into extra time.
NE10 Goaltender of the Week
Cam Carroll, Saint Anselm
Sophomore | Putnam Valley, N.Y.
The sophomore netminder made 58 saves in the Hawks opening weekend, helping lead the team to the Buffalo State Bengals Classic Championship. In Friday's opener against Brockport, Carroll made 32 saves through 65 minutes. Carroll then forced a thrilling nine (9) round shootout, stopping the final attempt in the ninth round, allowing the Hawks to advance to the Championship game. In the Championship on Saturday, Carroll made 26 saves and again forced overtime. In the OT, the Hawks scored, earning Carroll the first win of the season.
NE10 Rookie of the Week
Evan Plunkett, Saint Michael's
Freshman | Goaltender | Charlotte, N.C.
Plunkett made 19 saves in a 4-0 shutout of MCLA in his college debut on Saturday. He helped the Purple Knights blank the Trailblazers on four power plays.
