NE10 Swimmer of the Week
Sultanbek Azat, Bridgeport
Freshman I Almaty, Kazakhstan
One of the top swimmers in Division II in his debut season stateside, Azat swam the 800 Free in 8:20.57, the 400 Free in 4:00.74 and took part in the 400 Free Relay in 3:29.31. All three times were good for first place in Bridgeport's wins of Saint Joseph's and Roger Williams (tri-meet).
NE10 Diver of the Week
Juan David Urrea Vargas, Bridgeport
Grad Student I Cali, Colombia
Urrea Vargas won the 1M dive against Saint Joseph and Roger Williams with a season-best score of 241.05. That mark is fifth-best in the NE10 this season.
NE10 Rookie of the Week
Christian Toussi, Bridgeport
Freshman I Viken, Norway
A three-time NE10 Rookie of the Week, Toussi took first place in four races of Bridgeport's tri-meet wins over Roger Williams and Saint Joseph. Toussi won the 50 Free (24.02), 200 Back (2:10.74), 400 Medley Relay (3:51.19) and the 400 Free Relay (3:29.31).
