NORTH ATTLEBORO, Mass. - Five swimmers and one diver were selected from the Northeast 10 to partake in next month's NCAA Championships in Indiana, as announced by the NCAA Division II office Wednesday evening.
Men's champion Bridgeport led the way with a pair of choices: individual conference champs Christian Toussi and Jurica Dragun. Dragun and Toussi set conference championship records in the 100 Breast and 100 Back respectively in Worcester and were selected for NCAA's in those events. Dragun ranks 13th in DII with the 53.8 he swam at the ECAC Winter Championship.
Yubal Parra was chosen from Staten Island to represent the NE10 on the diving board. Parra won the conference crowns on the 1M and 3M boards again this season, going back-to-back as NE10 Diver of the Meet at the conference championship this month. Parra finished sixth nationally at the NCAA Championship last winter, claiming the first All-American honor in CSI history.
On the women's side, Pace's Gigi Morossi makes her return to the NCAA Championships, having appeared in the 200 Back as a rookie in 2025. She was the best in the conference in the race again this year while also taking silver in the 100 Back at the league meet. Her 2:01.33 vs Felician sits as the No. 25 time in the country.
The woman that defeated Morossi at NE10's in the 100 Back was Felician's Nicolette Wight. The Golden Falcon rookie was also selected to the NCAA's. The 55.59 Wight swam at the NE10's ranks 25th in DII.
