Women's Lacrosse 4/23/2025 4:44:16 PM Pace Claims Top Seed for NE10 Women's Lacrosse Championship Adelphi, New Haven and Pace Earn Share of Regular Season Title MANSFIELD, Mass. - For the third straight year, Pace has claimed the top seed in the Northeast-10 Conference Women's Lacrosse Championship after earning a share of the regular season title with Adelphi and New Haven. The NE10 office announced the Championship seeding on Wednesday night. Quarterfinal action is scheduled for Saturday, with Pace, Adelphi, New Haven and Bentley earning the right to host games. Pace (14-3, 9-1 NE10), currently ranked No. 9 in the IWLCA Poll and No. 1 in the Division II East Region rankings, finished the regular season on a four-game winning streak - which included three wins over ranked opponents. The Setters look to defend their conference title, which they won last season for the first time in program history. Adelphi (13-3, 9-1 NE10) enters the NE10 Championship having won six-straight games, including a critical 12-9 victory over New Haven a week ago to help the Panthers earn a share of the regular season title. Last season, Adelphi advanced to the Division II National Championship and finished the season as the national finalist. New Haven (12-4, 9-1 NE10) won a share of the NE10 regular season title for the first time in program history, dropping only one game in conference play. The Chargers' biggest victory came in a 12-9 win over No. 7 Pace, as they became the first team to hand Pace a conference loss since Stonehill did on April 13, 2022. On Saturday, there will be four quarterfinal games - including No. 1 Pace against No. 8 Southern New Hampshire. No. 2 Adelphi will welcome No. 7 Southern Connecticut, while No. 3 New Haven hosts No. 6 Assumption and No. 4 Bentley plays No. 5 Saint Anselm. All games will be streamed on NE10 NOW on FloSports. When comparing results vs. other teams in the standings, all three defeated all other teams. When looking at goal differential, Pace earned the #1 seed with a +1 differential within the mini-conference (New Haven was 0 and Adelphi was -1). Adelphi earned the #2 seed based on their regular season win vs. New Haven during the regular season.
