NE10 Player of the Week

Francis Lanuza, Adelphi
Senior | Muntinlupa City, Philippines

Lanuza finished second at the George Cangero Invitational this past weekend, shooting a 70. His score of 2-under par was highlighted by a stellar front nine that included back to back birdies on holes 6 & 7 at Eisenhower White in East Meadow, N.Y. His round of play (only one round was played due to inclement weather) helped the team finish second at the tournament.

NE10 Rookie of the Week

Zeus Sara, Adelphi
Freshman | Davao City, Philippines

In his collegiate debut, Sara tied for fifth at the George Cangero Invitational this past weekend. He shot an even 72, highlighted by back to back clutch birdies on holes 17 & 18 to finish his first round. His consistency and clutch play helped Adelphi place second in the tournament as a team (Only one round was played due to inclement weather).
