Bentley's Sencaj Tabbed Academic All-American

Bentley Slugger Picks Up Another Award

NORTH ATTLEBORO, Mass. - Bentley's Brendan Sencaj, the Northeast 10 Conference Player of the Year in the Northeast Division, adds another award to his 2025 season by being named Academic All-American by College Sports Communicators (CSC) on Tuesday.

Sencaj was a Second Team selection after earning a 3.59 GPA as a Finance major. It is his first time being named an Academic All-American.

Sencaj became the first Bentley player since 1997 to be named NE10 Player of the Year, following in the footsteps of his coach Mike Hill who won the award that season while playing for the Falcons. He led all NE10 players in batting average (.411), hits (86), runs (62), RBI (67) and total bases (137).

The Division II Academic All-America® program is being financially supported by the NCAA Division II national governance structure to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2024-25 Division II Academic All-America® program.
