Kelso scored the first two goals in a 3-0 victory over Staten Island on Wednesday before the Purple Knights played to a scoreless tie with regionally-ranked Bentley on Saturday.
NE10 Defensive Player of the Week
Julia Palmese, Saint Michael's
Sophomore | Defender | Berlin, Conn.
Palmese anchored a defense that yielded only three shots, and just two on goal, during a pair of shutouts. She appeared in 147 of 180 minutes while helping the Purple Knights down Staten Island, 3-0, on Wednesday before playing to a scoreless draw with regionally-ranked Bentley on Saturday.
NE10 Goalkeeper of the Week
Abby Aughe, Southern Connecticut
Senior | Goalkeeper | Springfield, Pa.
Aughe tallied nine saves across two games this week for the Owls. She tallied her 100th career save vs Jefferson in her hometown, then picked up seven more in a scoreless draw against SNHU. That marked her second time with seven saves in a game this season. She is the only keeper in the conference to have multiple games of seven or more saves, and ranks second in total saves (23) and save percentage (.852) this year.
