NE10 Swimmer and Rookie of the Week

Sultan Azat, Bridgeport
Freshman I Almaty, Kazakhstan

Azat wins both honors for the second straight week.  Bridgeport went 1-1 last week, winning a conference tilt vs. CSI and dropping a DI showdown vs. Fairfield.  Azat swam the third-best 800 Free time in the conference this year against CSI, finishing in 8:26.56.  He then also posted top five times in the league against the Stags in the 500 and 1000 Free, touching the wall in 4:37.52 and 9:47.96.  He swam three of the best four races in the conference last week according to Swimcloud.
 

NE10 Diver of the Week

Yubal Parra, CSI 
Junior I Queens, N.Y.

Parra dove in three meets last week.  He finished first or second in each meet with his best day coming against Baruch.  He posted a 537.25 score in 11 dives, listed by Swimcloud as the fifth-best performance in DII this winter.  His 366.2 score in six dives against Brookln off the 3M board ranks him third-best in Division II this season.
