2026 NE10 Indoor Track & Field Championship Preview

SCSU Picked Preseason to Claim Both Men's and Women's Crowns

The TLDR
  • The NE10 Indoor Track & Field Championship returns to the TRACK at new balance on Thursday and Friday, February 19th and 20th.
  • Live coverage of both days will be broadcast on FloCollege ($).
  • Southern Connecticut's men and women were predicted by league coaches to win both titles.
  • Only seven champions return for the 2025 NE10 Indoor Track & Field Championship (4 Men's and 3 Women's).  Hannah Caiola from SCSU is a double-champ in the 200m and 400m dashes.
  • The SCSU men have won eight straight NE10 titles, last faltering when AIC won in 2016.  The Owls have finished first or second every year but one in conference history.
  • SCSU has won the last two years on the women's side, coming in behind SNHU and AIC in the two years prior.  Stonehill won seven straight titles before departing for DI, with their last championship coming in 2019.
  • New Haven, the men's runners up in the last three championships and the women's runners up last winter, departed the league for DI after last season.
