NORTH ATTLEBORO, Mass. - Southern Connecticut State's Hannah Caiola along with Adelphi's Jabari Holder and the SCSU 4x400 women's relay team were all selected by the NCAA to represent the Northeast 10 at the national championship meet later this month in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
Caiola will run the 400m with a 54.19 seed time, 11th best in Division II. Caiola also ranked 11th in the 200m this season. The Owls 4x400 squad includes Caiola, Patrice Mansfield, Avery Winters and Djamilla Toukour. They checked in with a 3:44.12 seed time, 15th-best in the NCAA.
Holder, an Adelphi freshman, will participate in the Triple Jump after posting a 15.07m mark this winter. Holder was the NE10 Champion at this past month's meet in Boston and ranks 19th nationally.
Holder and the 4x400 squad will both compete on March 14th at noon and 7pm respectively. Caiola is set to run in the prelims on March 13th at 4:45pm.
