DeMartinis Repeats as Player of the Week

NE10 Player of the Week

Stan DeMartinis III, Bentley
Graduate Student | Outfielder | Boca Raton, Fla.

DeMartinis hit a home run in each of Bentley's three wins over nationally-ranked Southern New Hampshire. He totaled nine RBI between the three games, while hitting 4-for-11 (.364) with a slugging percentage of 1.273. His best performance came in a 7-6 win on Sunday, where DeMartinis was 2-for-4 with a grand slam, two runs scored and five RBI. It is the second straight Player of the Week honor for DeMartinis. 


NE10 Pitcher of the Week

John Carver, Adelphi
Fifth Year Senior | Pitcher | Lynbrook, N.Y.

Carver was lights out in Adelphi's 5-1 win over Assumption on Saturday. The right-hander struck out a career-high 15 batters in 8.0 innings pitched, while allowing only five hits and one earned run.


NE10 Rookie of the Week

Michael Caron, Assumption
Freshman | Outfielder | Brentwood, N.H.

Across three games this week for Assumption, Caron batted .750 with six hits, three runs, a triple, two home runs, and six RBI, while supporting a 2.528 OPS. On Sunday against Adelphi, he went 3-for-3 with a triple, a home run, and two RBI in game one. In the nightcap, he went 3-for-5 with another home run and four RBI. Assumption earned a series split with Adelphi.
