NE10 Track Athlete of the Week
Hope Sinclair, SNHU
Senior I Hampton, N.H.
Sinclair won the 100m and 200m at the SNHU Spring Invitational, posting the top times in the East Region. She won the 100m in a new PR of 11.89m, which would have been a program record but was wind aided (+2.2). She won the 200m, non-wind aided in 25.04.
NE10 Field Athlete of the Week
Sophia Morin, Saint Anselm
Junior I Brunswick, Maine
At the SNHU Spring Open on Thursday, Morin became the first woman in program history to hit a provisional mark, accomplishing the feat in the javelin. She recorded a throw of 42.45 meters, earning a first-place finish while setting a new program record for the Hawks. She also recorded a strong performance in the hammer throw, tossing 41.06 meters.
NE10 Rookie of the Week
Mimi Oritz, Frankin Pierce
Freshman I Nashua, N.H.
Ortiz kicked off her outdoor college career with four events at the SNHU Invite. She ran in the 100m, 200m, 100 Hurdles and 4x100. She won the hurdles and her team won the 4x100 with the top time in the Northeast 10 last week.
