Pace's Klosek Highlights Performances.

Week 9 - November 3, 2025


NE10 Player of the Week

Meredith Klosek, Pace
Freshman | Forward | Edison, N.J.

Klosek had a breakout week for the Setters, scoring three goals across two matches. Klosek netted two goals in Pace’s record-breaking 10-0 win over Staten Island, scoring once in each half while finishing with three shots on goal. She followed with another goal in Pace’s 1-1 draw at Bentley, striking in the 37th minute to give the Setters the early lead. For the week, Klosek totaled seven points - including three goals on six shots, averaging 1.5 goals and 3.0 shots per match.  


NE10 Defensive Player of the Week

Samantha Breton, Franklin Pierce
Graduate Student | Defender | Chicopee, Mass.

Breton anchored the Franklin Pierce backline through two full matches last week, totaling 176 minutes of play while contributing on both sides of the field. Breton scored the opening goal in the Ravens’ 2–0 shutout win at No. 15 Mercy, her first Franklin Pierce goal, and helped limit the Mavericks to just five shots on target.


NE10 Goalkeeper of the Week

Chloe Laizer, Saint Michael's
Freshman | Goalkeeper | West Springfield, Mass.

Laizer made four saves to backstop the Purple Knights to a 2-1 win over Franklin Pierce on Saturday, snapping the Ravens' 11-game unbeaten streak and 14-game home undefeated run. Franklin Pierce entered the day leading the NE10 in scoring (2.8) and had not been limited to a single goal at home by an NE10 team since Oct. 12, 2024.
