Bentley Leads Presidents Cup Standings After Fall Season

Falcons Also Rank First in Pioneers Cup.

NORTH ATTLEBORO, Mass. – Behind three regular season championship titles in the fall season, Bentley has taken an early lead in the Northeast 10 Conference Presidents Cup standings, as announced by the league office on Thursday morning.

Bentley earned 63.5 points in the fall - tied for a league-high 77% of its maximum point total - to lead Adelphi (57.5) and Franklin Pierce (51.5) at the one-third mark of the academic year. The Falcons won the regular season championship in football, men's soccer and volleyball - while earning top-three finishes in women's cross country and golf.

Adelphi, the two-time reigning Presidents Cup champion, won the NE10 Women's Golf Championship and recorded three second-place finishes in field hockey, men's golf and volleyball this past fall. Franklin Pierce had four finishes in the top-three, led by a second-place finish in women's soccer. Saint Anselm (47.5) and Southern Connecticut (44.0) round-out the top five.

The NE10 Presidents Cup is presented annually at the conclusion of the academic year, signifying overall athletic excellence in the league. The honor is awarded to the institution that compiles the most cumulative points based on finishes in the regular season standings from all of its programs competing in league championships.

In the Founders Cup (men's sports), Franklin Pierce leads NE10 institutions with 25.0 points, edging Bentley (24.5) for the top spot. The Ravens had three finishes in the top-three, including runner-up at the NE10 Men's Cross Country Championship.

In the Pioneers Cup (women's sports), Bentley leads with 39.0 points, while Adelphi (38.5) and Saint Anselm (36.5) are close behind. A first-place finish in volleyball, as well as second-place finishes in women's cross country and golf, led the Falcons - the reigning Pioneers Cup champions - to the top of the standings.

Adelphi won both the Presidents Cup and Founders Cup in 2024-25, while Bentley won the Pioneers Cup.
