Volpe Sets SCSU Record in 1,500

NE10 Track Athlete of the Week

Volpe set a Southern Connecticut record, opening the 2026 outdoor season with a 3:45.47 1,500 time to rank best in the East Region and meeting an NCAA provisional standard.


NE10 Field Athlete of the Week

Harvey Lys, American Int'l
Sophomore I Andover, Mass

Lys carried his solid indoor season outside,continuing to shine in his first year competing for AIC, winning the high jump at Hartford's Rage In The Cage Invitational at 1.92 meters, and taking second in the 110-meter hurdles in 15.23 seconds. His high jump currently ranks second in the East Region and first among first-year competitors. 


NE10 Rookie of the Week

Chris Amy
Freshman I Norwich, Conn.

Amy opened his outdoor college career with the best shot put of the Northeast 10 through two weeks. He set a PR at 16.59m at the UConn DogFight, placing third in a DI-heavy field.
