Assumption's Callahan Joins 1,000-Point Club

NE10 Player of the Week

Marina Callahan, Assumption
Senior | Forward | Burlington, Mass.

Callahan led the charge for Assumption in a 2-0 week. She began with a 23-point, eight-rebound, five-assist performance in a 54-50 win at Adelphi, improving the Greyhounds to 3-1 in NE10 action. She joined the 1,000-point mark, becoming the 26th member in program history to surpass the mark, with a three-pointer late in the fourth quarter to regain the lead for Assumption. Callahan capped off the week with 18 points, six rebounds, four assists, three blocks, and two steals in the Greyhounds' 69-51 win against Georgian Court. On the week, she averaged 20.5 points on 17-of-27 from the floor (62.9 percent), adding 7.0 rebounds, 4.5 assists, 2.0 blocks, and 1.5 steals.


NE10 Rookie of the Week

Schuyler Coles, New Haven
Freshman | Guard | Harrisburg, Pa.

After earning her first start last week, Coles continued to impress in the starting lineup, finishing a 2-1 week for the Chargers averaging 9.0 points and 4.0 rebounds. The rookie guard finished the week shooting 7-of-24 while also going 13-of-18 at the free throw line. She also added three assists and five steals combined in the three games while her high for the week came as a new career-high of 15 in a road win at Georgian Court.
