Goffstown, N.H. — Head coach Rebecca Fakas and the Adelphi men's tennis team began their quest for a third straight Northeast 10 Championship on Thursday morning when they took on No. 4 Bentley in the tournament's first semifinal.

The Panthers got off to a fast start, earning the first point of the match after a pair of 6-1 doubles wins by the teams of Andrea Albiero and Viktor Hockl and Spyridon Papageorgiou and Leo Silverston.

Momentum for the Panthers carried into singles play, as Viktor Hockl made quick work in the No. 2 flight, winning 6-2, 6-2. Albiero put Bentley on the ropes with a 6-4, 6-1 victory, and Papageorgiou clinched the match for the Brown and Gold — after a 6-2, 6-3 win as the Panthers' No. 3.
