Assumption Sweeps NE10 Awards

NE10 Player of the Week

Caroline Mäder, Assumption
Sophomore | Großwallstadt, Germany


Mäder went 4-0 on the week, as she picked up a 6-2 win at top-flight doubles before recording a 6-1, 7-5 win at No. 2 singles on Tuesday at Saint Anselm. Mäder wrapped up the week with two more wins against SNHU on Saturday. She won 6-4 at No. 1 doubles, before winning No. 2 singles 6-4, 6-3. She improves to 18-2 overall. 8-1 in singles action and 10-1 in doubles. Assumption was 2-0 this week as a team. 


NE10 Rookie of the Week

Laurence Bosmans, Assumption
Freshman | Budapest, Hungary

 

Bosmans went 3-1 in a 2-0 week for Assumption. She began the week with a 6-2 win at No. 1 doubles against Saint Anselm before falling at top-flight singles 6-0, 6-2. On Saturday, she recorded two wins against Southern New Hampshire, as she won 6-4 at No. 1 doubles and 6-2, 6-2 at No. 1 singles.
