Bennett Wins Rookie of the Week for Fourth Time

NE10 Player of the Week

Katie Williamson, Southern Connecticut
Graduate Student | Forward | Dublin, Ireland

 

Williamson led the team with a career-best of 27 points, as she shot 11-for-19 from the floor, was 5-for-6 from the free-throw line, totaled three assists, had a team-best of three steals, grabbed two rebounds, and had a team-best of two blocks in a thrilling, 88-85 overtime win over American International. Williamson leads the NE10 in scoring, with an average of 18.5 points per game, is ranked third in the conference in field goal percentage with 50% and is second in the NE10 in free-throw percentage with 87%. 


NE10 Rookie of the Week

Keyvanna Bennett, American International
Freshman | Guard | Windsor, Conn.

Bennett averaged 13.0 points and 9.5 rebounds per game in a 1-1 week for AIC. In a victory over Adelphi, she scored 14 points and grabbed 13 rebounds. In a narrow loss to Southern Connecticut, she recorded 12 points and six rebounds.
