Liedbeck, Togores Lead Teams into NE10 Championship

NE10 Player of the Week

Katarina Liedbeck, Adelphi
Junior | Bastad, Sweden


Liedbeck helped Adelphi to a crucial 5-2 victory over Assumption in the regular season finale on Sunday, cementing the Panthers a first-round bye in the NE10 Women's Tennis Championship. She defeated Laurence Bosmans at No. 1 singles (6-4, 6-2) and teammed with Zuzanna Witkowska for a 6-2 win at No. 1 doubles. 


NE10 Rookie of the Week

Victoria Togores, New Haven
Freshman | Canary Islands, Spain

 

Togores beat the previously-undefeated Zuzanna Krygier of Southern New Hampshire at No. 4 singles in three sets (6-3, 4-6, 7-5), helping New Haven to finish the regular season with a perfect 8-0 record against NE10 opponents. It is the first outright regular season title for New Haven in program history.
